One Café/Restaurant I can really recommend is "Ladurée". It's famous for its macaroons but has a lot of bakery and reeally good food!(A bit more expensive, thouh..) There is one on the Champs-Elysées, another near Odéon and one inbetween La Madeleine and Concorde. For sure there are more!
France has a lot of good confiseries, so really get to taste all the things! Just Keep your eyes open! You won't get home hungry, I promise!

My travel partner once made a point of trying creme brûlée in every restaurant we ate in to find the "best" one. They were all good, but I remember she particularly like the one she had at the top of the Pompidou center. The onion soup is good there, too, and the view wonderful.
But there are thousands of restaurants in Paris, several on every block, most have creme brûlée and it's all very, very good.
