I am trying to rent an apartment in Paris, and the agent told me that they do not have apartment numbers in Paris, so it cannot be included in the lease. I was skeptical about this--is this true? I am trying to rent through Lodgis Paris, by the way.

True, you get the appartment identity by its placement and floor level. 5th floor, first door on the right etc.

Just to correct the above post, there's no limit to the number of appartements on a single floor, from one to x, it depends on the size of the building.

It is true but you can ask for the floor and where it is situated.

Door opposite, to the right, to the left.

is it on street or on court ?

Usually, there are 3 apartments by floor
