Sure you can sell your artwork on the streets of Paris. in a very few minutes you will receive a visit

from an official wearing a very elegant uniform and he will ask for your street worker's license. He may also inquire why you as a Canadian are working in Paris when the law is quite clear that only those from European Union countries can work or earn money anywhere in France and that you as a tourist can only stay 90 days in the country and do no work. Then he might even be nice enough to take you to a place where you will receive a nice French meal, and provided with a small cot, before you are escorted to the airport for your return flight to Ontario.

I stand corrected and in no way do I want to insult the fine city of Whitby, Ontario. i believe Whitby is just about the fastest growing city in Canada. Ireland of course is a member state of the European Union and you will be permitted to work peacefully in Paris. I believe you will need some kind of a license and you would be assigned a specific zone. France has an excellent embassy in Ottawa and I am sure they can give you complete information. However you will not get that free French gourmet dinner.
