Yes and yes! Paris really is a wonderful city. It is definitely one of the top cities in the world. There are lots of sites to see, but mostly, I just like sitting in a sidewalk cafe, watching the people go by. Also, it's a very walkable city. Most of the streets are narrow, so it feels very quaint, and the bottom floors of all the buildings are shops and restaurants and cafes. It's not like a lot of modern American cities where you feel lost on a huge sidewalk and have to be in certain areas to have a place to stop and window shop or have a drink or bite to eat. There's something interstesting at every turn.

For the romance factor, definitely yes. Some factors come into play though(fellow traveller/Owner of a Travel Agency):

1-When in 2007 do you want to go?

2-Lots of different ways to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Besides Air and Hotel, have you and your husband considered a romantic cruise?

3-If Hotel and Air, have you considered other locales?

4- Your Travel Budget

Suggestions if YES to #3--South Pacific, Italy, Hawaii, Caribbean. Just some ideas there. Now understand that Paris is a romantic place to celebrate your anniversary. It has its minuses as well. Examples are: Rude and/or arrogant people, overpriced food(in my opinion anyways....like they see us Americans coming).

Kindly either call, email me at: indysteve1563@yahoo.com or reach me through Yahoo Messenger with your ideas and thoughts and let's see what the possibilities are.

Yes! Paris is beautiful...perfect for lovers.

There is something for everyone...the plethora of museums (Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Rodin Museum, Picasso Museum, Napoleon's Tomb and War Museum, Pompidou Center, etc, etc, etc), great shopping (Galeries Lafayette, Champs-Elysees, Rue de Rivoli--for souvenirs), mouth-watering food (just stroll down any street and you'll find a charming place to eat), the Seine River, the Eiffel Tower (share a passionate kiss with your spouse under the illuminated Eiffel Tower), the cathedrals/churches (Notre-Dame, Sacre-Coeur, Sainte-Chapelle, etc).

So much to see and do...you two will have a wonderful time!

it quite is a lot. i pass to Paris in 2 weeks for decrease than 10 days. when I come back, i visit complete up how a lot I spent and that i assure it's going to be a lot extra advantageous than that! a severe-high quality, no longer precise-of-the-line hotel room in Paris is oftentimes approximately $one hundred consistent with nighttime. once you're there for 14 nights, it quite is $1400. Airfare relies upon on season and the place you're departing from. the main inexpensive around holiday fare I ever got here across from Atlanta (the place I stay) to Paris grew to become into $six hundred, and that grew to become right into a pair years in the past till now gas expenses went up a lot. So, it quite is $2000 purely for transportation and accommodations! If funds is a controversy, initiate saving funds now. take area in all of the college fundraisers which you would be able to. possibly you are able to attitude your church (in case you attend one) or close by small companies approximately sponsoring you.

Six years ago, we spent three weeks in Paris. We wrote a travelogue of our trip which is posted on our non-commercial web site: http://www.thetravelzine.com

There are also other France (including Paris) travelogues and many about other European countries - so sit back, relax and start your research. You want your 10th anniversary trip to be perfect.

Happy planning ~ planning is half the fun!

By all means go and enjoy every minute of it. Get air travel early or go towards March-May when prices are at the low end. If you are going to Paris you need to buy two things a pair of French shoes for the both of you, and cheese, no one does it better.

If you are willing to spend the money, go to Alaine Ducasse for dinner, it runs around $500 for two and you will remember that meal for the rest of your lives.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon and that dinner made it all worth while.

Bon Appetite.

I never been to Paris myself but my sister has. Pretty much every picture taken with her camera looked like a beautiful postcard. She told me it was expensive place to visit but still worth it. I say go for it, it's you 10th anniversary, spoil yourself and your partner. Have a safe trip. =)

yes, even if its rainingyou can rent a car and go to spain or germany or go on a train. gas is exspensive. toll boths on the roads when you leave outside of paris. and there is no driving laws, well there is but no one follows them you have to pay to use the bathroom. and it is cheeper to stan when you go out to eat then sitting down. dont order pizza unless its from pizza hut. there pizza is garbage. paris is very beautiful. the measums are awsome. the boat rides are nice and walking down town is fun. i suggest you go to bamberg germany. a little secret called little vense and little rome. most romatic place in the world. you will fall so in love alover again.

Hello,

It is one of most beautiful cities in the world Lady...

And also one of the filthiest places i have ever seen...

But i did alot of walking so as to really experience the people of France.Like visiting nieghborhoods and little out of the way cafes.

But if you stick with the mainstream tourist attractions. You and hubby should have a very romantic time with lots of great memories...

Have fun...

You should really check out St.Tropez on the SE coast...Hot Hot Heat...Very Romantic...

If you're American choose anywhere else to go on your honeymoon. My daughter was married last November and her European honeymoon was a nightmare, but nowhere worse than the employees at Charles DeGaulle Airport, who made them wait and made snide comments simply because my daughter and her husband were American.

The French do not deserve our business.
