My Husband and I traveled on the TGV from Paris to Nice a couple of years ago and loved it but we now have a baby and would like to make the same trip again, however it would be much easier if we had our own cabin so that I could contain my Daughter and get her to sleep etc on the 6/7 hour train journey.

Does anyone know if the TGV trains offer this type of cabin?

no, the tgv doesn't have any private cabins. you could take the night train in first class and book all the beds in the cabin, i 'm pretty sure there are 4, if you have the means for that.

have a nice trip

Check out airfares. Riding trains in Europe is tiring even without kids and gets old very quickly.
