What is the fee to cash an AMEX traveler's cheque drawn in USA at an AMEX exchange booth in Paris?

Is an AMEX money exchange service center a place where I can cash a travelers cheque in Paris? What are the fees involved if it's an AMEX cheque cashed at and AMEX office?

There is no fee to cash a Amex TC at the Amex office on rue Scribe in Paris.



They make their money on the exchange rate (as do all money changers). Unlike many money changers however they don't charge a flat fee or a percentage simply for cashing the TC.



I can't honestly say what the situation might be at any other Amex office or booth since I have been using the office on the rue Scribe for the last 30+ years and have never used any other Bureau de Change in Paris.
